Leader's Day - April 22, 2010

Hey girls, here is your opportunity to tell your Girl Scout leader and the whole world what a difference she has made in your life. Think how much it would mean to your leader to read how important she has been to you PLUS you can win a prize for her just for telling us! We’re having a contest and we want to hear from girls all over the council! Don’t let your leader down ~ tell us all about what a great job she is doing. Here is what you need to do:

Submit a digital video, a letter/drawing or pictures telling:

  • What my leader means to me OR
  • The best thing my leader taught me OR
  • The difference my leader has made in my life

There will be 18 winning Girl Scout Leaders, chosen at random from the submissions; one winner per grade level, per category. All winners will receive gift certificates from a local restaurants to enjoy an
evening out with a guest.

Submit to:

  • Email: LeadersDayContest@GSEIWI.org
  • Mail: GSEIWI, Leaders Day Contest, PO Box 190, West Burlington, IA 52655
  • Drop off at your local Girl Scout Service Center

All submissions are due by March 15, 2010. If you have questions, please contact Kim Hull at 319-752-3639 or email LeadersDayContest@GSEIWI.org.

Girls ‐ that means that the more submissions you make for your leader ~ the better the chance she has to win! So talk to the other girls in your troop and encourage them to send something in, too. All submissions will be posted online so that everyone can see how awesome YOUR leader is! Winners will be announced at Girls Go Global on April 24, 2010.
