Camp Staff Positions for Summer 2010
Note: Not all positions are available at all camps.
Qualifications Desired:
- Minimum age for most positions is 18 years.
- Experience working with children.
- Willingness to live and work in the outdoors.
- Most positions are residential, living on site during the camp season.
- Camp season is from approximately June 5-August 8 (variable by camp).

Regional Membership Managers (2)
We are seeking two full-time Regional Membership Managers; for Johnson and Cedar Counties (Based out of the Cedar Rapids Service Center) and Scott County (Based out of the Rock Island Service Center).
- Increase membership in geographic area, reaching underrepresented populations.
- Recruit new adult volunteers to Girl Scouting.
- Ensure delivery of a contemporary and innovative Girl Scout program to all girls that builds skills, values, interpersonal relationships, social conscience, and conviction about their own self-worth.
Candidates must possess skills in; marketing and networking, volunteer recruitment and management, proficiency in Word, Excel, Internet, and e-mail. Additional assets required; leadership and delegation, ability to work independently and as a member of a team, and conflict resolution skills.
A generous benefit package is included. Individual must have reliable transportation and able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and occasional weekends.

Program Assistants
Seeking part-time program assistants to provide program to multi-age level groups in an after-school atmosphere. Candidates must possess skills in: working with children, organization, creativity, leadership, conflict resolution, implementing a fun program and providing learning experience to the girls.
This position is 5-10 hours per week and located at the Cedar Rapids Area Girl Scout Service Center, Dubuque Area Girl Scout Service Center, Quad Cities Area Girl Scout Service Center and the Waterloo Area Girl Scout Service Center. Candidates are to submit cover letter and resume to:
